I found a book called Falling In by Samantha R. Anderer while searching for a new book to read. You can find it at https://www.squidoo.com/books-for-high-school-girls-and-everyone-else. It’s a really great tale of a teenage girl who wants to read the last book of her teen romance series, but somehow becomes part of the story. The book is part suspense, part humor, and it’s only at the last few chapters of the book where it becomes paranormal.
