I was born in Dorset, England, in 1968. My father was in the Army, and as such I was educated in Germany, then returned to the UK, working mainly in pubs before before joining the RAF Regiment for three years. Afterwards, I trained as a nurse, and worked for the NHS for fifteen years. During this time I studied with the Open University, gaining degrees in human geography, and health and social care. In writing An Angel's Alternative, I hope I have made the characters as true to life as possible, as well as creating an enjoyable story. Should any readers wish for more, I have three other completed novels awaiting editing, which I hope to publish soon.
